I wrote this Chrismas Carol for my Sissy. A simple 4-Part choir piece for small schools and churches. Orchestrated with instruments to make it sound fuller… including the little drummer girl/boy. Looking at that night from a different,
yet traditional point of view.

Why?
One cold football night at Washington HS in Kansas, my band of 8 (with me on drums ) and a flag corp of 12 stepped to the field for half-time. The audience didn’t expect much, but were surprise at how big we sounded.I didn’t tell them the physics of cold air, nor the fact the music was written simply as 4-part with loads of doubling & octaves. A gift for my Sissy, and the little bands and choirs everywhere.
