[ mellifluous (muh-lif-loo-uhs) [Adjective] Sweetly or smoothly flowing; sweet-sounding ]
brings over 50 years experience in listening and performing. Everything from sideman, frontman, stagehand to director, with 12 years on The Consoles. Recording in both home and commercial studios, I understand where you’re coming from. The passion, blood, sweat and tears that goes into your song, or album.
Mellifluous Masters affords you the freedom to concentrate on your creativity. Listening to what you want. Giving the clarity of studio recording with that live energy to your music. Beging there, inside each player. Creating “the room” that makes their chops sing. No matter what style, you’ll get that mellifluous acoustic, analog sound.
The Console at Mellifluous Masters is AMEK/Neve, with access to SSL and Focusrite boards upon request. A chosen set of top of the line plugins drive the Mellifluous Masters sound, with many others available. All of it played musically.
Mastering the final file, or stems, adds the right touch to your song, or album. Getting it there for streaming, download, or going for the vinyl. I don’t change your sound. The goal is to make your sound jump to your gruuve, caress in your acoustic ballad, or just plain deliver your message. I don’t work alone. We work together to bring your creativity alive.
If you play with Band In A Box (BIAB), doesn’t it sound great in the box? Listen to it Mellifluousized. Make it yours, you’ll enjoy my touch. I work with it daily, arranging tunes, generating sections, solos, and post-production work.
Hear are some recent mixes to guide you in discovery. Most are BIAB accompanied. Some original, some renditions of others songs. All rights reserved, Copyright 2026. These will be expanding with more styles.

Victor and I have been musical friends for quite a few years. We’ve performed together in various situations. When I decided I wanted to get serious about getting my original tunes recorded and under copyright I soon realized that I would need some help in getting the songs into a final mix for public consumption. Victor had been delving into the recording and mixing aspects of the trade as I had been discovering the complexities of building my own recording studio and learning how to use it.There are many aspects of deciding what mixing engineer you should use and I’m not going to go into that. What I will say is that without a doubt, Victor has the best set of ears I know of. He hears your musical creations and… he listens to you as an artist. The man has talent. ~ Noel Fray |
