Welcome to My Muse
Fifty plus years of performing in many venues, in a variety of styles, form the foundation for Mellifluous Masters. Every gig was so easy to play the room, the situation, the audience, and make it all gruuve. The last 10 years I’ve been translating all of that into mixing. Now I begin each project remembering I’m building The Room around the musicians.
Using some of the top algorithms in the industry, my goal is acoustic analog in the digital domain. All y’all musicians have cut the trax. I’m going to find your gruuve, and play the consoles like I’ve played my sax… The Creative is a special place. Examples here are a mixture of collaborations with musicians I’ve known for decades, and some tunes, goofs and etudes of my own.

Now it’s time to find other musicians… to be Ensemble again! If Mellifluous Masters sounds good to you, let’s collaborate. We’ll find creative taking us to new places. Grab a listen… all audio is being encoded from 24 bit WAV files to Apple M4A (256 bps).
Hear is another Goof, much like Beat Mail from 2014. I enjoyed David Youngs’ “Technomantra” it inspired me when recuperating from surgery. All the things that got in the way, on the way and through the procedure. It is a good performance, although with mistakes, as I am doing it in one continuous take… a performance. I will get it in-pocket with the lyrics, but this one works as is. Enjoy

| This tune, “Little Wing” is hot off The Consoles. Just had to do it for the guitar. I like the spread and how it pours down my ears right now. The Guitar and Bass growl work nice, too.
The second tune is from Anna Blanton called “Waves”. Nice, gentle piece in contrast to LW. |
